Hey Guys!
It’s been a while since I’ve shared some SOUL SNACKS with you and today feels like a soul snack kinda day. You with me? As you’ll notice, I’ve focused all my soul on food. I find that when I can’t sleep, I slip into doing the thing that inspired me to want to blog in the first place…I read food blogs. Shocker, I know. So this post is a result of a little Saturday night insomnia and a hankering for beauty food. (You thought I was going to say beauty sleep, didn’t you?) Can I just say – I am in awe of the talent in this world. In awe. The writing…the recipes…the photography. Here’s a smidge of the millions (yep, millions) that I adore! Enjoy!
Well, this’ll definitely make Old Man Winter a little easier to welcome… Baileys Winter Cocktail Shake with Hot Chocolate Fudge Sauce…
Please. Just look at these tarts. Please. Raspberry and Pear Mini Tarts
I want all the blueberries. All of them. For this ——> Sichuan Peppercorn Blueberry Oatmeal Pie
Old Fashioned Doughnuts with Salted Caramel Glaze ought to be illegal. Yes?
Fig Blackberry Walnut Cake with Peach Tea Frosting… I just want to sit at Aimee’s table and sip tea all day long… sighhhhhh….
Homemade Egg Pasta Dough never looked so good!
So happy it’s Tomato Soup season…
Who doesn’t want a few Dark Chocolate Swirled Meringues with their coffee?
The Dreamiest of Dreamy Milk Toast … And I mean dreamy….
I really want to go here… Oh… and here…
How beautiful is this Almond Cake with gold dusted almonds?
I’m always craving this…
I began this little soul snack journey with a cocktail (see above) so how ’bout we end it with one, too… The Nitro Mocha Coffee Cocktail … Mmmm.
Peace, my friends… #NeverForget

Love that, Anu! “Nothing can beat the food which devours a soul.” Perfect!! 🙂
I was just thinking about your Soul Snacks posts, Annie. 🙂 There’s nothing quite like basking in the beauty of food blogging on a Saturday night, when you can’t sleep. I bet you had the tastiest dreams when you finally did. 🙂 I was especially drooling over the doughnuts with salted caramel glaze. Like, WOW. Plus, peach tea frosting on that walnut cake? What an amazing and incredible idea. I hope your sleep gets better, my friend. xo
Oh my…then this came at just the right time! Do food blogs ever serve as your bedtime story too? I just can’t get enough of them! Thanks for your sweetness, my friend! xo
This is a great list. I need that tomato soup pronto! As soon as it cools down a little I start craving soup like crazy.
Oh yes – let’s hear it for soup season!! 🙂
I love your soul snacks, Annie… because sometimes the soul just NEEDS snacks, ya know? :0 LOVE this list. I’d devour everything on that list, but I’m thinking a smorgasbord of deliciousness should always start with a cocktail. 🙂 Hope you had a beautiful weekend, dear friend! Cheers! xoxo
Sometimes the soul does need snacks…and sometimes it needs a feast or a cocktail… Thank you, lovely! It was a sweet weekend…hope yours was as well!! xoxo
All of this sounds amazing, but I absolutely love the idea of baking grapefruit in slices instead of whole. Definitely will be doing this!
It is a great idea, isn’t it? I did it for my winter sunset cocktail…but you could do it anytime! 🙂 https://www.ciaochowbambina.com/winter-sunset-cocktail-video/ Thank you, friend!

Thanks, Gayle! They’re fun to create! 🙂
Looks like baked grapefruit here. Would love to try this. Which recipe can it be? I wonder. I love your photos. I think they draw me to the recipes as much as the mouthwatering descriptions. Thank you.
That was from my winter sunset cocktail… https://www.ciaochowbambina.com/winter-sunset-cocktail-video/ I probably should have included that! Thanks, friend!!
I’m going for the tomato soup with truffle burrata. It sounds terrific. just what I need on this first cool day. Cheers!
Doesn’t that sound perfect for today?! I say YES!
